I would hope that in a community of artists people would know how to be respectful and openminded. However, I am unhappy to realize that some of the people on deviant art are immature and mean. I recently read a review on a nude in which a person commented on the model "She has a big ass, nasty tits, and a pregnant look." Not so fond of the language or the cruelty there. Just because you don't think something is beautiful, it does not give you the right to harshly put down a person or their work. If you don't like a piece, move on to a new piece. Don't trash a person for it.
